Glenn McCrory
GLENN McCrory became IBF (International Boxing Federation) Cruiserweight Champion in 1989, following his wins of the British and Commonwealth titles.
Born in County Durham in 1964, he turned pro when he was 19 years old. He is the only boxing world champion to have come from the North East of England.
Glenn McCrory now runs a boxing gym in Newbiggin Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne.
